8A Solving The Problem
The opportunity that I have identified is affordable hurricane shutter installations for homeowners in South Florida. There are tons of people on a tight budget right now during this pandemic and many aren't even aware that hurricane season is coming up. Hurricanes on top of the already chaotic Corona Virus will create even more pandemonium. Most shutter companies and small businesses charge a ridiculous amount of money to install. My friends and I have put up shutters in the past for many homes and we believe residents will turn to us for our friendly prices and quality work. Our prices will not be based on the time it takes us to complete the job. Instead, the cost will be determined by the amount of windows on the house. Anything less than 7 windows will be $125. Homes with 8-15 windows will be $150. Lastly, if the home is two stories an additional $25 will be added to the total. The type of shutters don't impact the price because we are experienced with all kinds. We are aware of the current financial struggles people face and hope to make their lives easier. Most importantly, we want to help as many people as possible in Broward County stay safe.

Hello James,
ReplyDeleteI believe it is a good problem that you posted before. Residents in Florida have to face hurricane so the demand of shutters are always high. So the business can be developed since people need to install shutters in homes. The solution is also great: puttng up shutters for homes and charge money based on the number of windows. The charging principle is very fair and people can afford it. The method is convenient. The cost for residents are not high so people can affor it. So I believe it is a great solution and problem. Good job!
Hello James,
ReplyDeleteI think you have a great solution to your opportunity. The fact that many residents are going through a lot of financial struggles during these times along with the idea of presenting a cheaper alternative to their problems is quite a prosperous idea. Hurricane season is in fact right around the corner so it seems like you can get started with his solution right away. I am curious to see how you would continue producing revenue during the non-hurricane months, when you would not have as many potential customers? Great post!
Hi James,
ReplyDeleteI really like the opportunity you have chosen, I live in Palm Beach Florida and could really use this during hurricane season. I think a lot of people in south Florida also have this issue and so I think it is a great idea. Demands of shutters are always outrageously expensive and think this is a big issue for many people. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see how you go with this process.
Hi James,
ReplyDeleteI think how you plan on charging for windows is well structured. Not only is per window basis a good consistent charge, but it will allow customers to believe more in your product rather than doing it by time. I also think that your experience within this certain area will also appeal to customers more as they will see you as someone more knowledgeable with these products.
